Digital Arts Studios is delighted to present the current international artist in residence Allison Maria Rodriguez in discussion with artists Dr Laura O’Connor and Dr El Putnam.
Beginning with a short presentation by Allison Maria Rodriguez, the panel will discuss immersion as an artistic strategy and consider how digital technologies augment our experiences of art. This event is kindly being hosted by Belfast Exposed at 23 Donegall Street, Belfast. BT1 2FF.

The Panel:
Allison Maria Rodriguez is a first generation Cuban-American video installation artist that focuses extensively on climate change, species extinction and the interconnectivity of existence. Dr Laura O’Connor is a visual artist, lecturer and festival co-ordinator based in Belfast. O’Connor’s work combines performance, sculpture, installation, video and digital media to look at the representation of “women” in the media and through cultural narratives. EL Putnam is an artist-philosopher working in performance art and digital technologies.
